Digging Project
The digging project took place in the north of Israel one kilometer east of the Sea of Galilee in the northern area. It started at 5:00 AM and finished at 3:00 PM. The outcome of 10 hours of digging was a hole deeper than two meters and wider than a meter and a half.
Coming from a family of farmers I found it fascinating to dig a hole with no purpose to it. In a land with such rich history as Israel every dig might produce an archeological discovery. I was interested in trying to reveal something, but through my digging process I actually concealed myself disappearing gradually from the surface, and creating my own little grave.
